Texas Reunion
June 23, 1:14 PT Orange, CA--A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single quart of oil added the bus motor. This I’ll have to repeat every two or three tanks of gas. My mechanic didn’t find time to fix my push rod tubes and re-do the heads. I’ll travel old school, pouring oil in and leaving spots in my cousin’s driveways, all the way to Texas. I have a box full of road tapes and off I go to highways, canyons, and night blooming jasmine Still, the bus is packed and ready and I’m hitting the road now. In “Jasmine” John Stewart said it best, “And oh, here come those highways again. And oh, here I go.” The trip to the Texas Reunion now lags on the Fourth of July. I'll post photos here as I develop them in PhotoShop.
